✏️ Writing (DSKP 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.2.1, 3.2.2) — Unit 4: Lunchtime
Objective: Assess pupils’ ability to write food- and number-related words (e.g., apple, milk, three bananas), organise them in a shopping-list format, and complete very simple written sentences about food and quantities using correct spelling and basic punctuation.


Activities 

1️⃣ Drag the Words to Make a Shopping List
Pupils drag given food words such as apple, sandwich, milk into a blank shopping-list template (e.g., Shopping List: ___, ___).


2️⃣ Fill in the Blanks to Make a Shopping List 
Pupils read and complete short guided sentences, e.g.,
I need ___ apples and ___ oranges.
They write the correct numbers and food words.


Grading (auto TP from % score)

  • 90–100 → TP6: Writes food- and number-related words and shopping-list sentences accurately and independently.

  • 76–90 → TP5: Completes shopping-list sentences correctly with minimal support.

  • 61–75 → TP4: Writes simple food words and short shopping-list sentences with some support.

  • 41–60 → TP3: Copies or fills familiar food words/phrases with guidance.

  • 21–40 → TP2: Writes or traces a few familiar food words with support.

  • 0–20 → TP1: Attempts a few letters or words with strong support.


Suggested DSKP Elements (Writing, aligned to Unit 4)

  • 3.1.1 Copy familiar words in print (e.g., apple, milk, banana).

  • 3.1.2 Write letters and familiar high-frequency words from memory (e.g., rice, juice).

  • 3.2.1 Complete simple sentences with familiar words using given models (e.g., I need three apples).

  • 3.2.2 Use basic numbers and very simple punctuation with support (e.g., commas in lists, capital letters for the first word).
