Third-Party Services and Plugins

Akses Academy may integrate third-party services to support learning features. These include Moodle plugins such as H5P, themes, and open-source educational tools like Canva for Education, Genially, and other free-to-use resources. Some of these tools may collect limited data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

We do not currently use analytics or CDN services, but reserve the right to implement them in the future, in which case this policy will be updated accordingly.

Use of Media on Our Site

The images, audio, and video used across Akses Academy are sourced responsibly, including:

  • Royalty-free stock libraries
  • AI-generated visuals, audio, and video created to support learning.
    • While every effort is made to ensure these materials are original and appropriate, AI-generated outputs may not always be free of copyright implications.
    • Such content may unintentionally resemble existing works, individuals, or cultural expressions. Akses Academy does not claim exclusive ownership of AI-generated content and disclaims liability for unintended resemblances.
  • YouTube content used at liberty for educational and non-commercial purposes.
    • These materials remain the property of their respective creators.
    • If you are a rights holder and do not wish your video to appear on Akses Academy, please contact us at privacy@aksesacademy.com and we will remove it promptly.
  • Excerpts, audio, and video from official Malaysian textbooks for Primary and Secondary Schools, used solely for teaching and learning under fair educational use.

All media is used strictly for educational and non-commercial purposes.

Data Retention

  • We retain user accounts until deletion is requested.
  • Inactive accounts may be removed after two years of inactivity, or earlier if a breach of usage policy occurs.
  • Users may request account deletion and data removal at any time by contacting us.

International Data Transfers

Akses Academy is hosted on Oracle Cloud Services, with servers located in Singapore. By using our platform, you consent to your data being securely stored and processed outside Malaysia, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Children’s Privacy

Akses Academy is designed to support learners of all ages, including children. We do not set a minimum age requirement; however, parents, guardians, and teachers are encouraged to supervise younger learners. We are committed to protecting children’s data in compliance with applicable laws and best practices.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or misuse. Please note that no online transmission or storage method is 100% secure.
