Objective: Assess pupilsβ ability to read a short paragraph about attractions in other countries (e.g., beaches, landmarks) and choose the correct picture that represents the country described.
Activities
1. Read and Choose the Correct Picture
Pupils read a short descriptive paragraph such as: βIn Australia you can see kangaroos on the beach and snorkel in clear water.β or βIn Egypt you can visit the pyramid beside the desert sea.β
Then they choose the picture (from multiple-choice options) that matches the paragraph. Encourage pupils to pay attention to keywords such as country names, landmarks, activities, scenery, or features mentioned.
