✏️ Writing (DSKP 4.1.1, 4.2.1, 4.2.2) — Unit 8: The Robot
Objective: Assess pupils’ ability to write simple sentences and a short paragraph to describe a monster or robot using vocabulary for body parts (e.g., head, arms, legs, feet). Pupils demonstrate their understanding by arranging, completing, and producing descriptive sentences accurately.
Activities
1. Drag and Drop Words to Describe the Monster
Pupils drag and drop correct words (e.g., head, arms, legs, feet) into the blanks of short descriptive sentences.
Example: It has two ______ and one ______.
2. Fill in the Blanks
Pupils complete short sentences using suitable body parts vocabulary.
Example: The monster has three ______ and two ______.
3. Write a Short Paragraph
Pupils write a simple paragraph of 3–5 sentences describing a monster.
Example: My monster has two big eyes, three legs and one mouth. It can run very fast.
Encourage correct spelling, punctuation, and use of has/have and plural nouns.
Grading (auto TP from % score)
90–100 → TP6: Writes complete and accurate descriptive sentences and a short paragraph independently using correct vocabulary and structure.
76–90 → TP5: Writes meaningful sentences and a short paragraph with minimal errors or support.
61–75 → TP4: Writes simple descriptive sentences with some support; occasional spelling or grammar errors.
41–60 → TP3: Writes short, guided sentences using given words or frames with teacher support.
21–40 → TP2: Copies or completes single words or very short phrases with strong support.
0–20 → TP1: Struggles to form or copy words and phrases, even with support.
