πŸ“– Reading (DSKP 2.1.1, 2.2.1, 2.2.2, 2.2.3) β€” Unit 7: Get Dressed
Objective: Assess pupils’ ability to recognise and read words for clothing (e.g., shirt, trousers, shoes, hat), colours (red, blue, green), and actions in the present continuous tense (riding, playing, eating). Pupils will then use this information to write short descriptive sentences about what a person is wearing, the colours of their clothing, and what they are doing.

Activity (for PBD / H5P)

Read and Describe the Picture
Pupils look at a picture of a character and read the prompt (e.g., What is he wearing? What colour is his shirt? What is he doing?).
They then write short descriptive sentences such as:

  • He is wearing a red shirt.

  • He is wearing black shoes.

  • He is riding a bike.
