Listen and Choose the Correct Picture
Pupils listen to short sentences such as:

  • He is riding a pony.

  • She is eating a sandwich.

  • Tom is playing football.


Grading (auto TP from % score)

  • 90–100 β†’ TP6: Understands spoken sentences in present continuous (is + ing) with ease; chooses the correct picture accurately and independently.

  • 76–90 β†’ TP5: Responds accurately to most present continuous sentences with minimal support.

  • 61–75 β†’ TP4: Understands main ideas and some details in very simple is + ing sentences with support; selects mostly correct pictures.

  • 41–60 β†’ TP3: Recognises familiar action words in is + ing sentences and follows with guidance.

  • 21–40 β†’ TP2: Recognises a few action words or sounds in is + ing with support.

  • 0–20 β†’ TP1: Recognises only a few sounds or single words with strong support.


Suggested DSKP Elements
