Objective: Assess pupils’ ability to recognise free-time related vocabulary (e.g., play football, read, swim), numbers (e.g., one to ten), and names, and to write the correct name or number after listening to very simple phrases or sentences.

Listen to the Name or Number and Write the Answer
Pupils listen to short recordings such as Ben likes swimming or She has three books and write the correct name or number in the answer box.
Grading (auto TP from % score)

90–100 → TP6: Understands free-time related spoken text (main idea and details) and writes the correct names or numbers accurately and independently.

76–90 → TP5: Responds accurately with minimal support by writing the correct names or numbers.

61–75 → TP4: Understands main ideas and some details with support; writes simple names or numbers correctly with guidance.

41–60 → TP3: Recognises familiar free-time words and numbers and writes some with guidance.
