👂 Listening (DSKP 1.1.1, 1.2.1, 1.2.2, 1.2.4, 1.2.5) — Unit 5: Free Time
Objective: Assess pupils’ ability to recognise free-time related vocabulary (e.g., play football, read, swim), numbers (e.g., one to ten), and names, and to write the correct name or number after listening to very simple phrases or sentences.

Activity (for PBD / H5P)

Listen to the Name or Number and Write the Answer
Pupils listen to short recordings such as Ben likes swimming or She has three books and write the correct name or number in the answer box.

Grading (auto TP from % score)

• 90–100 → TP6: Understands free-time related spoken text (main idea and details) and writes the correct names or numbers accurately and independently.

• 76–90 → TP5: Responds accurately with minimal support by writing the correct names or numbers.

• 61–75 → TP4: Understands main ideas and some details with support; writes simple names or numbers correctly with guidance.

• 41–60 → TP3: Recognises familiar free-time words and numbers and writes some with guidance.

• 21–40 → TP2: Recognises a few familiar words or numbers with support.

• 0–20 → TP1: Recognises only a few sounds or words with strong support.

Suggested DSKP Elements (Listening, aligned to Unit 5)

• 1.1.1 Recognise and reproduce with support a range of high-frequency phonemes (e.g., /r/ in read, /p/ in play).

• 1.2.1 Understand with support the main idea of very simple phrases or sentences (e.g., He plays football).

• 1.2.2 Understand with support specific details in very simple phrases or sentences (e.g., number of activities or books).

• 1.2.4 Understand short supported instructions (e.g., Write the number three).

• 1.2.5 Understand short supported questions (e.g., Who likes to swim?, How many books?).
